MARTINA

Surrounded by music, artists and numerous cultural delights, Martina`s position at Zürich`s Opera house is not your regular office job. She is continuously on the go- working with all the various departments and performers. When not in the office she is busy being a Mum. Martina attends a lot of functions, whether through work or with her husband.

Martina radiates such a wonderful sunny, positive energy. I wanted her outfit to be a reflection of her- colourful, with an elegant, feminine note. As a personal shopper, it is my job to know which labels work well with my clients style, their figure and budget- saving my clients time and introducing them to something new. The wonderful emerald green suede coat is the perfect colour and length for Martina. A piece that will be in her wardrobe for years to come and will brighten up every day. Metalics have been a strong on-going theme this season and last. Teamed with these metallic champagne heels and belt- not only mirrors Martina`s natural colours, it adds a little modern `glanz` to her outfit without being `too much.

And what did Martina think?
“The green suede coat is naturally THE highlight, I love strong colours. I was unsure about the combination with yellow as I never wear yellow, however, I like it alot. The look is fresh and ideal for a work wardrobe- it doesn`t always need to be dark blue, grey, black and white!”

TOBIAS

A year ago Tobias was rushing around Europe from one appointment to another suited, booted and ready for business. He decided it was time for a change and is now studying to become a social worker.

I wanted Tobi`s style to reflect his personal style- relaxed, open, fresh and sporty. The aim- to introduce him to something new but not over style`him for Spring and take him away from the dark clothes dominating his wardrobe.

When I saw the leather jacket from D`Amico Bologna I knew that it would be a key investment, a special colour- in keeping with Tobi`s natural features, the perfect length and cut, simply a cool- James Dean addition to his wardrobe.

After a 20 minute shopping trip we were finished- our task complete. Over coffee Tobias said he really enjoyed the experience and would be happy to go shopping again- with the first pay cheque after his studies. His favourite piece, the leather jacket, of course!

Isabelle

Skinny jeans, jumpers, jackets and trainers- meet Mum on the run Isabelle, our first model in this re-style series. Watch this space, there are more to come!

I wanted the styling to be a reflection of Isabelle`s bohemian lifestyle. Isabelle started her career in banking and as a PR woman in the music industry. She turned her life around- becoming a yoga teacher and a Mum. She works for a bio restaurant and in her free time loves writing, drawing, dancing and, and, and…

Isabelle isn`t the biggest fan of print and she hasn`t worn wide cut trousers in a long time- but she certainly has the long legs for it! I wanted the styling to be a reflection of her lifestyle, her clothing budget and be something she feels happy and comfortable with.

So, what did Isabelle think of the new look?
“I love the super comfy wide leg trousers and the colours- I`m amazed that the platform shoes are comfortable and that I can walk in them. I love the hat and accessories. I am still not 100% sure about print- but it was fun to try out something new.”
